One of the main goals of The Huckleberry Foundation is to provide direct assistance to families with special needs children. We accept applications from families in need of financial assistance for their family member(s) with special needs. Eligible applicants have a family member or members medically diagnosed with a disability such as autism spectrum disorder, down syndrome, fragile X syndrome, dyslexia, etc. You are welcome to apply for funds for anything that will directly improve the life of your special needs child. Some examples of uses of the assistance include, but are not limited to:

-Recreational programs

-Evaluations

-Social skills training

-Tuitions

-Therapies

-Safety related items

-Devices used for communication 

-Devices used for transportation

-Equine therapy

-Swimming lessons

RESIDENTS OF THE STATE OF TEXAS.

 WE HOPE TO GROW AND BE ABLE TO AID MORE STATES IN THE NEAR FUTURE*

 

Proof of Service or Purchase of Goods is required.

Funds will be given directly to the vendor or service provider except in special circumstance to the family, which will require proof that the funds were used for the intended purpose with submission of valid receipts.
